Coral asked us to work up a brand ambassador programme that would best reflect their brand attributes – loyal, honest, straightforward and trustworthy.
Researching personalities to the audience and brand fit, and utilising Heavyweight’s network of contacts, former England captain and Newcastle legend Alan Shearer fitted the bill perfectly.
Alan and sports fans also enjoyed a series of #AskShearer social media comps where Coral followers would ask Alan those in depth questions only Big Al could answer.
We signed up Match of the Day's main man on Coral's behalf and Alan wrote a weekly blog, edited by Heavyweight, which was pushed out onto social media channels.
